Dear dedicated subscribers and readers,

Blog posts have slowed, thanks to a full-blown rebellion of my technology. First, our locations apparently think WiFi and cell service are optional—clearly plotting against me. Then my laptop, after years of loyal service, decided to retire permanently, leaving me to wrestle with an iPad that acts like it’s doing me a favor. And just to really drive the point home, my Apple Watch quit too—betraying me at the exact moment I need it to monitor my heart rate on hikes.

So although we’re “back in action”, we’re limping along, one finger tap, tap, tap at a time, improvising, and hoping the rest of the tech army doesn’t revolt. Thanks for enduring the adventure with us.
